This Week's Sketches

We’ve got a little backlog, so here’s a sneak preview of what’s currently on the Caption Committee‘s plate: -Turtle with satellite dish: The joke here is centering on the turtle going back inside to watch TV. -Cat in a dog mask. This one is a doozy. Artie submitted a novella of a caption, and he’s prepared to go to the mats over it. -A dejected fly: Two different approaches here, one is fairly edgy but definitely funnier. My guess is we end up splitting the difference & watering it down to the lowest common denominator and ruining it. -Cow eating grapes: An obvious wine joke here, but probably good enough. -Three witches & a cauldron: An early Halloween submission we’ll probably hold until October. Captions are almost set, just waiting on the focus group data. Which the Committee will deliberate ad nauseam before we hand things over to Inky. -Ed.
