“Your Little Blue Pill”
This one was hotly debated all week long. Ultimately, the Committee decided to outright reject it, so it is un-numbered and therefore not “official canon”. I probably shouldn’t even post it here, but as far as I can tell no one on the Committee is even following this account. Artie submitted on time Tuesday, and the Committee didn’t decide on the rejection until last night. Let’s just say there were plenty of feelings involved all around. But the consensus is that it’s off-brand for a family friendly publisher. We have a brand to consider, what about the brand? etc, etc. I don’t know, I suspect it’s pretty relatable for plenty of families, but what does a recently promoter Social Media Manager know (see what I did there)? There was an effort to salvage it with an alternative caption, but the only caption Artie would submit is “Yes, honey, I know the Committee is filled with humorless idiots.” Which went over about how you’d expect. So this one will never see the light of day. I’ll probably take it down next week, so enjoy it while it lasts. And make sure not to share it with anyone. -Ed.
