Carrick & Tuck
We had a few requests to see the rejected captions on this one. So here they are, in ascending order of both word count and preference in the focus groups. They say brevity is the soul of wit, but Artie keeps trying to prove them wrong. His initial submission was the fourth version, with the longest caption, naturally. It finally got whittled down to the version in the prior post. I’m partial to the last place version, personally (“Carrick & Tuck”). But I don’t get a vote in the focus group or the Committee meeting. Also, for those of you who expressed concern, we found Jenny from ad sales. She was just taking a nap on a different floor. -Ed.
